Greenroad was invited to participate in the "Belt and Road" Kenya-China Investment Exchange Conference and met with the First Lady of Kenya.

On October 17th -18th, the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing, and the President and his wife of Kenya were invited to participate in the Forum. Greenroad was honored to participate in the series of cooperation activities--Kenya-China Investment Exchange and met with the first lady to actively respond to the "Belt and Road" initiative.

On October 17th, the Kenya-China Investment Exchange Conference was jointly organized by the Kenya Investment Promotion Agency (KIPA) and the Kenya-China General Chamber of Commerce (KCGC) in Beijing. Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto, a number of ministers from the Kenya Investment Authority, Chinese dignitaries and representatives of outstanding entrepreneurs and other guests attended the meeting. Greenroad International Logistics was honored to be invited, and Wang Hao, the executive deputy general manager, attended the meeting on behalf of the company.


At the meeting, President Ruto of Kenya said that nowadays, the "Belt and Road" initiative has achieved many practical results. Under the framework of cooperation, Kenya has built 600 kilometers of standard railroad, nearly 2,000 kilometers of roads and a highway in Nairobi, which are all part of the "Belt and Road" initiative.


During the conference, Mr. Wang Hao shared Greenroad's Kenya story with many guests. Greenroad Kenya Limited was established in 2013 (as an office from 2010 to 2013), as one of the earliest Chinese logistics companies in Africa, we have been helping Kenya's development in the areas of infrastructure construction, economy, culture, etc. We have participated in many local projects in Kenya. We participate in a number of local projects in Kenya, and participate in the construction of Kenya Vocational Education Phase II project to promote the development of local vocational education. This year, our company helped our country to realize the large-volume, regularized import of dried wild anchovies from Kenya, marking a new step in Sino-Kenyan aquatic products trade cooperation.

Symposium for the First Lady of Kenya 


On October 18th, General Manager of Greenroad Global Customer Service Center, Ms. Fu Zeling, on behalf of the company, met and exchanged views with the First Lady of Kenya. H.E. Mrs. Rachel Ruto, the First Lady of Kenya, accompanied the President of Kenya to Beijing to participate in the Third "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum and a series of activities. The First Lady of Kenya is a member of the Steering Committee of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD). At the symposium, General Manager Mr. Fu Zeling exchanged views with the First Lady and leaders of the China-Africa Chamber of Commerce on the development of the "Belt and Road" and the future of the industry. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, the concept of "truthfulness and sincerity" and the correct concept of "righteousness and benefit". Over the past ten years, the initiative has guided China-Africa relations to move forward steadily and led China-Africa economic and trade cooperation to expand and deepen. Greenroad will work hard to promote China-Africa high-quality cooperation and development, as we know each other from afar and are still neighbors.
