Greenroad was invited to participate in the Exchange Symposium for Diplomats of 23 African Countries in the United Nations

On August 11th, greenroad was invited to attend the Symposium on Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Capacity Building in Sub-Saharan Africa organized by China-Africa Civil Chamber of Commerce, and exchanged views with ambassadors, ministers and other senior diplomats from 23 African countries in the United Nations, focusing on the most urgent development needs of Africa and the construction and enhancement of innovation and entrepreneurship capacity of African youth. Mr. Zhang Huabing, Vice President of Global Development Strategy of greenroad, attended the symposium on behalf of the company.
 


 
At the symposium, Mr. Samba, Ambassador and representative of Guinea-Bissau Mission to the United Nations, firstly thanked the Ministry of Commerce of China, the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations, the United Nations Development Program and the China-Africa Chamber of Commerce for all the efforts made to prepare for this workshop for in-depth exchanges and sharing with enterprises. He pointed out that this session came at the right time, focusing on Africa's most pressing industry development needs and the widest range of employment groups. He emphasized that Chinese enterprises are crucial in the process of industrialization and modernization in Africa, and it is very exciting to hear the head enterprises from different industries introduce their existing strategic layout in Africa.
 
H.E. Ambassador Agens Mary CHIMBIRI MOLANDE, Representative of the Malawi Mission to the United Nations, added that Africa's uniqueness, with its significant international and regional impact, makes it a highly valued "strategic partner" in China's international interactions. She fully affirmed the many positive and mutually beneficial results that the China-Africa Chamber of Commerce (CACC), an internationalized and comprehensive professional platform, has brought to China-Africa cooperation.

 

 
Africa is an important logistics hub region with a lot of room for development. During the symposium, greenroad, as an important operation service provider of international logistics, actively participated in several seminars and dialogues. During the exchange, Mr. Zhang Huabing, Vice President of greenroad, shared greenroad's latest development and innovative initiatives in the field of Belt and Road logistics, introduced greenroad's efforts in Africa's logistics, trade, supply chain, and logistics talent cultivation, and emphasized greenroad's subsequent focus on promoting the cooperation in Africa's logistics infrastructure construction, e-commerce and supply chain, as well as sustainable and green logistics technology. At the same time, he also carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions with diplomats from different African countries on the issues and suggestions raised on the development of logistics in Africa.
 

 
This symposium is the result of continuous innovation of foreign aid human resource development cooperation between China and Africa under the framework of South-South cooperation in the new era, and is a concrete initiative to promote global development initiatives and implement the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Vision 2035 of China-Africa Cooperation with pragmatic actions. The world is wonderful because of openness and win-win because of cooperation. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as the 10th anniversary of the concept of a genuine and sincere policy toward Africa and the correct concept of righteousness and benefit.
